I think EA sports should replicate likliehood to injury in FIFA or FM.

'Following an incident in training, Rolando Aarons is out for 2 months with a split end'

'Following an incident in training, Siem De Jong is out for 6 months with a missing limb'

'Following an incident in training, Tim Krul is out for the rest of the season following a cheese related choking accident'

Fucking embarrassing how we aways top the injury table, every single year

We pretty much knew that already, didn't we?

Well the length of time out seems to have doubled from what was suggested earlier.

There probably should be a Doctor Death smiley on here.

Can't understand looking to loan him out at all. If Carr had scouted him and then signed him last season for a few million and he had the impact that he actually did for the games he played, we'd all be crying out for him to get fit and start every game.

Schteeeve clearly doesn't fancy him.

In light of Klopp's recent comments about Sturridge - him not knowing 'true pain' etc - could the same sort of logic be applied to this lad? Just doesn't fancy it if he's feeling anything short of 100%?

They'll sign him and he'll be fucking amazing. Guaranteed.

I don't think McClaren wants to play him even when fit, his interview on radio newcastle at the start of the season was very weird regarding aarons, was more on about his defensive work than anything else

Where have we heard that sort of shit before?!

The desperation in here.

Virtually nothing to suggest he's:

a. Fit to play.

b. Likely to be picked.

c. Able to affect our form.

There goes my optimism for 2016. Cheers Dave  :(

Sorry.

He's an exciting young player, but there's nothing much else to say.

him and mbabu would revitalise or left side and free up wijnaldum.

never going to happen under mcclaren.

They've played about 5 games between them

They literally couldn't be any worse tho

Crazy idea, why would you use two natural left sided players on the left side?? Insane!

Aye it might turn out horse shit but when you're staring down the barrel anything is worth a try, they aren't world beaters but adding a bit of width and choice to our attack making us less predictable must be worth a try at least.

Disputing the would revitalise us part, not against giving them a go. No evidence to suggest they'd revitalise us

We're not though, not according to McClaren in his press conference today.

“There are 19 games to go. You try to make sure with ten games to go, you are in a good position and with five to go you are in an even better position. Before that we have a lot of work to do.”

So there clearly won't be any major changes yet.

Reminds me of that quote Darlow had about conceding goals

I think to a degree it would, I feel like I've said it a million times, but currently all an opposing team has to to worry about is our right side. Even the thought of a left side attack would revitalise the look of the team and how we are managed by opposing defences

There's absolutely no doubt that two young players who might not yet have been pardewed or maccad might go into games with a little less fear and hesitation. No reason at all to not play the likes of those two when all the other options are clearly not working.
