Hanshithispantz
These Palace fans are canny funny like. It'll be funny when they realise, but I don't think I'd wish Pardew on anyone really. It's sort of poetically beautiful though in a way.
loki679
Pulis is another dinosaur, I wouldn't want him here. We need someone who can coach the players in movement and tactics, shapes on the pitch, transitional play, I don't think Pulis has that in his locker. Dokko
What type of football would Pulis play with the squad right now? Yes he would be better than Pardew but don't think it would be something that most fans could hold with him for long. He was a lot more attacking with palace than anyone thought he would be. He built a long ball team with stoke, but certainly opened up a bit more with palace. I think he's a bit more versatile than most on here will give him credit for. Remember, that Palace team played like when he arrived. There's very little to go on to suggest that he'd play expansive football and a massive amount to go on to suggest that he'd play long ball, bruiser, shite like he did as Stoke. I don't think they did. The played with excitement at being in the prem, when that fizzled out thry had nothing. He hasn't got the players for it here and he's not stupid like Pardew to try and do that with what he's got. He certainly sees it as an option, but part of a full set of tactics, not just one way. ElDiablo
"Anyone heard of Perez before this season. A player signed from a Spanish second division club. Pardew has made some fantastic signings and that scouting knowledge he will bring with him." Someone just needs to post that pic of the bloke who scouted him, aka 'The Thing' and leave it as a cliffhanger. See if they can work it out.

nufcjb
The atmosphere at the stadium, the amount of enjoyment at the football being played at SJP if Pulis is here would be the same as how fat Sam was here. A good start but then it will get nasty.

Danh1
The good thing of Pulis coming here is that he has shown he won't put up with bullshit at Palace so he won't be impossible to get rid of like this muppet seemingly is.
Wullie
Pulis who walked out of his last job because he didn't get his own way, Pulis who sued Gillingham after a fall-out with the owner? More chance of Mike Ashley giving Keegan his job back.
Danh1
I'll go back to SJP if Pardew is gone and someone remotely decent is there, would love to go to games again. Don't think I'll be back until Ashley is gone.

TaylorJ_01
I'm sure Carr would have a say in it. Pulis would require a huge overhaul of our squad and would be completely stupid.

Anon
In talking about the possible motive of moving to Palace that people can't comprehend, from a personal point of view he's had dog's abuse (rightly so) and has to travel up every week, must be tempting to work closer to home at a club that would make him The King again. mozy
Pulis at Stoke played pure 100% hoofball with effectively 4 centre backs, a defensive narrow midfield 4 and then a big lump up front supported by a headless chicken. This is what we do not need. In fairness to him he played a slightly different setup at Palace but there are many many more interesting candidates out there.
