Chronicle:

Newcastle United assistant manager John Carver has revealed that Alan Pardew was in “fine” mood after the win against Everton.

It was the Geordie coach who was sent to face the media after the game amidst speculation that Pardew is in line to take over at Crystal Palace.

And when asked to explain why Pardew was absent, Carver said: “He just said: “Will you go do the press for me?”

“That was it. He’s fine. Delighted. It’s a fantastic result for us.

“We’ve had a difficult period against good opposition, and it was another good opponent today. He’s been pleased with the performance.

“It’s probably been one of our best performances in recent times.”

You can fuck off with him n'all you useless fucking ape.

SUPER ALAN PARDEW

AAAL SUPER AL....

Stuff what he may or may not have done at Newcastle. If it is him the guy gets a massive amount of leeway and goodwill from me for giving me the most epic, intense and emotionally draining moment of my Palace supporting life.

If there's anything Super Al can do, it's drain emotions.
