Crystal Palace manager

There's a code among the fraternity. They likely despise one another but they never say it or no one deserves to lose their job. It's proper weird like.

If your boss asked you in front of a colleague you hated whether you thought that colleague should be sacked you'd probably say no, only because he's there. It's not that unusual.

They're not really colleagues though are they?

No but Pardew will still hear his comments. They also have that unwritten code because football is all about jobs for the boys so they all want to stay in everyones good books.

It's a very common view of people with very short memories. So many people seem to have no recollection of Jan-October 2014 or the almost-relegation in 2013. It was all erased by the good 2 month run and the persistence of the 'was was 5th' memory.  It's baffling really. They really seem to have forgotten.

The only plus he has a manager is that he`s pone to bouts of unbelievable luck.

If it weren't for Ashley he`d probably still be slouched over a table at 3am just about to lump it all on red.

I`ll never forgive him for last years SJP Mackem tactics / capitulation.

Rob Lee was a fucking hero as a player, but this is the same Rob Lee that KK managed to convince to sign for us after telling him Newcastle was closer to London than Middlesbrough...

Good old 'Pards'!

"Enter 24-year-old PSV Eindhoven playmaker Georginio Wijnaldum, a player on the radar of Graham Carr for five years. When his name was first put to Alan Pardew back in 2012 he opined: “I’ve never heard of him.”

Err  :hmm:

Yoan Gouffran trying his best in a position that he is not suited to?

Absolutely sick of the Chronicle's 'journalists.' How on earth can anyone of sound mind convince themselves that Gouffran is trying hard?

He told him it was quicker to London because we have an airport.

Is it quicker on the train too?

Anyway Pardew, if we stay up the press are gonna be all over him for keeping us and palace up. If we go down it'll be because we forced him out. I'm hibernating.

The 'train' from Middlesbrough to London via Darlington I wouldn't wish on a dangerous dog.

Hey!

You're not wrong mind, the train to Middlesbrough from Darlington is surely the most depressing thing in the entire world.

"Newcastle brought it on themselves, they shouldn't have gotten rid of Pardew"

We didn't get rid of Pardew you thick cunts, that's why we're in this mess.  What the club got wrong was NOT sacking Pardew.  If they'd looked at his sub-relegation form, listened to the fans and sacked him, got rid on our terms, then we would have been ready to get a replacement.  Instead, we just let him keep going until even he had enough of getting up humped 4-0 every week and bailed.  To which the club went "Uh, hmm, urrr, didn't expect this, does this mean we need to look for a new manager?  Nah, probably not.  Let's just replace our 1/10 manager with a 0/10 not even a manager, good job we're already safe or we'd actually have to do our job."
