Oh wow [emoji38]

It's the thought that counts though! And I actually like that pattern, quite retro.

Chances of Newcastle wearing the adidas stuff in Australia?

Depends on the start of the contract with Adidas as well as the end of the Castore deal.

Can't see it myself, they'll keep it for a massive launch campaign over here early June

None, I believe the contract is until the end of May, now most have a clause in to extent them for scenarios like the pandemic delayed game.

Website is updating June 1st with all the new headshots / in the new home kit.

Castore deal runs out may 31st.

Everyone will see it online on June 1st …So it could be officially confirmed on the same day ?

or maybe a few days before ?

Official release date (able to buy it)  is June 7th , which was leaked in the Mike Ashley Court Fiasco.

The club confirmed the website was changing May 29th, has that changed?

£30 in 1994 money relates to about £61 in today's money with inflation. I know it seems ridiculous the prices, and I am absolutely not defending them here by any stretch, but they're not as far out of step with everything else, inflation-wise, as it appears.

94 was 30 years ago. I seem to remember about 20 years ago you could get a long sleeve (which was always more expensive) with a name and number on the back for about 50 odd quid.

Fair point, yes. My maths has failed me spectacularly today.

£55 in 2004 with inflation is £95.60 in 2024 money though...so point still stands.

We're only a few years off non-'pro' versions being three figures, aren't we?  :anguish:

If you want a name number and PL badge it takes the price over £100
