ramirez Posted Tuesday at 14:13 Share Posted Tuesday at 14:13 Not a well liked Kit and don't think we ever won in it? I was at Leeds and Hillsborough when we lost in it, think the other game was Southampton and we never won there.
Harry 209 Posted Tuesday at 16:20 Share Posted Tuesday at 16:20 Every square inch if that shirt is awful. A diabolical design paired with terrible memories.
Harry 209 Posted Wednesday at 14:35 Share Posted Wednesday at 14:35 according to FH next years adidas shirts will have the Teamgeist neckline (see Liverpool and Madrid 06/07 shirts). I hope we dodge that bullet, it looks awful. Not as bad as Liverpool 24/25 but still bad.
Keegans Export Posted Wednesday at 16:28 Share Posted Wednesday at 16:28 It's quite obviously a throwback to the much-loved 1885/86 East End FC shirt, worn by such luminaries as William Muir. Honestly, call yourselves Newcastle fans...
Kanji Posted Wednesday at 16:31 Share Posted Wednesday at 16:31 There are many parts of me that love adidas, and a lot that actually just despise how they overcomplicate some of this stuff. A crew, a V, a grandad, or a polo collar. It's that simple. Random piping and panels, not needed, ever.
TK-421 Posted Wednesday at 19:10 Share Posted Wednesday at 19:10 (edited) Dont think the normal current teamgeist neckline is too bad to be honest, as long as we can avoid the added fold over collar, like the Liverpool 06/07 Home shirt had. Chris L Posted Wednesday at 20:45 Share Posted Wednesday at 20:45 If they going to go back to that era all the time. I’d have preferred a re make of the 96/97 blue one with the stripes across the middle.
Dr.Spaceman Posted Wednesday at 20:51 Share Posted Wednesday at 20:51 Feel a lot like a spoilt kid for saying this but I genuinely expected much more from Adidas. Good job I'm not a football shirt wanker, more a training gear wanker, but it all feels very 'meh' at present. They're better than this, surely. Even the originals gear was badly done imo. I’m growing to the away shirt but everything else hasn’t been great. Saved myself a fortune I guess but like you I expected so much better. cut out the nostalgia shit and bring out some new ideas

ramirez Posted yesterday at 12:35 Share Posted yesterday at 12:35 I've got a bnwt of those winging its way from Italy as we speak, even has the old 1892 tags on it, will post once delivered, got my dads old one too so not sure if will keep new one. Memories of watching the last ever Roker derby win at the arena with us wearing that shirt.
Stal Posted yesterday at 12:58 Share Posted yesterday at 12:58 Reckon we should get a remix of those yellow and green away shirts from around 92-ish.
ramirez Posted yesterday at 13:04 Share Posted yesterday at 13:04 Yellow and green my favourite combo as when I started watching us, also most practical as would never really need a third shirt, unless Watford were in yellow and black stripes. Can't ever see a situation were we won't have three shirts mind.
