I can understand the hate but I've mentioned before that there's only so much you can do with black and white stripes, they have to come up with ways to mix it up a little and the variable gradation of the stripes makes it different to every other Newcastle home kit. It would look even better if the stripes were on the back too but that's a battle we're not winning unfortunately. At some point they need to mix it up or we just kit every year with virtually any significant differences.
