What is the point of this rule about having the back of the shirt clear? It's not as if you couldn't read the name and number years ago before it came in.

Don’t know but I guarantee it relates to money and global appeal

Absolutely woeful.

Somehow indicative of the PIF ownership - they just aren’t getting it. . . .

With a fanbase like ours, they're always going to sell millions of units regardless. So for Adidas there's gains to be had in producing something a bit divisive but immediately recognisable (and engagement-driving), especially if there's a bit of crossover fashion appeal. Got to assume this season's Juve kit did well for the brand.

It's absolutely honking. So much going on, and all of it baaaad. Adidas' ridiculously thick 3 stripes should be nowhere near a football shirt.

I didn't realise the middle stripe was off-centre.

What a ludicrous kit. I'm in.

Surely that’s an error on an early copy or something? If not they didn’t just to annoy people

Well it’s obviously a snide based on what were actually getting, given all the rumours around Sela going.

You're probably right. There's subtle differences to the earlier leak, too (Adidas stripes/placement of the middle stripe).

Not sure about the weird interlaced fabric incidentally.

I don't love the blue shade either; think it's a bit garish and what they've used this season would be better.

I remember the infamous yellow custard kit getting released in 2010, everyone saying it was pua liften, worst kit ever etc.

I recall similar when the 2012 home kit (Cissa and Ba) was released.

If we do well in the kit it’ll be looked back on fondly I’m sure.

Interesting that it has both the very thick Adidas stripes on the sleeve (wasn't there some reason that might not be allowed?) and Sela on the front

Supposed to be too big for Premier League regulations.
