Rich
The bairn is buzzing for it, having been non-plussed about the previous few. I’m sure that’s somewhat down to him getting older, but think it’ll be a hit with the young ‘uns due to it being a bit zany.

Kanj
2 hours ago, Yorkie said: Well said that man. Though I do think there's a place for an exceptionally well done classic design, and I feel like we're probably due that at some point... 17/18, 22/23, 23/24 were all close but two of those efforts were butchered by Fun88, and the last just had that Castore stink. Maybe we'll track the Juventus steps and get something for poor old @Kanj next year. Truly unusual (like this) or truly classic (like this year's Juve) are both immeasurably better than: a poor copy (last season) or a shit-looking, half-arsed, who-knows-what-it's-supposed-to-be (this season). I can get on board with this line of thought in paragraph 2 of your post. Obv I prefer our players to be in really clean simple kits and our away and thirds to be a bit wild and different. So Juve’s new one is perfect in that regard. I do not like remake style kits as much as it’s a bit to copy and paste. I thought our last two castore kits were just about as perfect as it gets in terms of style and such. I of course will buy my son the new kits as it’s a perfect gift for him and he wears them all the time.

NE27
Has anyone made comment on the reverse of the shirt? Do you know if it is a white box again () or the same pattern carried around the back? @Shadow Puppets can you divulge that?

Guillaume
Why would Guinness (or the owners of Guinness) want to sponsor us? I find it hard to believe they need the exposure, particularly at such a high cost. They are unlikely to get much out of it in returns.

BlueStar
The 0.0 shit is just a loophole so they can still advertise their brand in situations where booze ads are banned. You still see the Becks, Heineken or Guinness logo and who cares if there's a (0%) qualifier after it

Diageo are one of the biggest drinks companies in the world, if they’re sponsoring the front of a football team shirt they’ll have done their due diligence on what markets they will be able to target and the likely Return On Investment. Yep, there's no doubt about that... But, it's just a rumour isn't it, one that I personally think it's unlikely.

Apparently some of the players have been speculating informally that it might be Guinness 0%, but it’s still very much a rumour. And it does feel unlikely. And am sure Diageo will have researched how much their turnover would decline when Guinness becomes a boycoutted product in Chickentown.
