FIFA adjusted the schedule to fit with the most profitable TV times. So on november 21st. Senegal v Netherlands is the first game and then England plays Iran before the grand opening ceremony with Qatar playing Ecuador. https://digitalhub.fifa.com/m/6a616c6cf19bc57a/original/FWC-2022-Match-Schedule.pdf Jenas is a lying cunt. Swear he said Qatar was first match. Edited April 1, 2022 by Super Duper Branko Strupar

It's quite a remarkable tune, the way it keeps moving forward with almost no repetition. Italy's is a bit martial-sounding and goes on a bit too long. For a national anthem, you need something that is stirring but at the same time quite reverent. Land of My Fathers effectively combines both. Find their team a bit underwhelming, but those two are good enough to make that group more interesting. The way Uruguay have been playing under their new manager they might actually win that group. Once again an interesting side. Fascinating how that small country keeps producing good players. Godin might be getting on a bit, but still have Araujo, Gimenez at the back and then Betancur, Valverde in midfield and Suarez, Cavani, Nunez, Gomez up top. Abacus
Very much enjoyed the Sun's headline on England's World Cup draw. "It's Iranian men! Hallelujah!" That should be played before their every match instead of their normal theme tune.
