Saw something that Ghana are hoping to have Hudson Odoi and Tariq Lamptey declared for them by the time this starts

That would be fantastic for Ghana. Find their team a bit underwhelming, but those two are good enough to make that group more interesting. The way Uruguay have been playing under their new manager they might actually win that group. Once again an interesting side. Fascinating how that small country keeps producing good players. Godin might be getting on a bit, but still have Araujo, Gimenez at the back and then Betancur, Valverde in midfield and Suarez, Cavani, Nunez, Gomez up top.

Very much enjoyed the Sun's headline on England's World Cup draw.

"It's Iranian men! Hallelujah!"

That should be played before their every match instead of their normal theme tune.

7pm on Black Friday

Black Friday's not a UK thing though, unless you're counting an Amazon sale and a couple of fights in Tesco over cheap TVs. Not like the pubs are busier, you're surely thinking of Black Eye Friday in December.

Which of our players might make it to Qatar? Schar, Trippier, Bruno? Wood if NZ make it.

Almiron with Mexico!

Yeah, Australia are Stoke from any season from the last decade and Peru are technically better but not really done anything of note. If their right winger keeps running at the left back they’ll score though

Peru are really frustrating, they’ve broken past the halfway line several times and then as soon as they get another ten yards they totally pause, let Australia get into shape and then pass it around the back line for a bit
