Dave
It's a very interesting proposal, but it's utterly impossible to know if he's 'better than Carver'. We all know Carver is garbage, Vieira could quite easily be too given there's no evidence either way. As others have said, it's difficult to believe he'll be impressed by our Mickey Mouse approach to running a football club after being at Arsenal and Man City. Mole_Toonfan
So was Roy Keane and he's absolutely f***ing bollocks. Not that i think Vieira would be a good manager but i get the feeling just from hearing him talk he's a lot more intelligent than Keane
Guest chopey
Ah fuck it, bring it on at least he'll have the balls to stand up to Ashley and charnley

Ameritoon
I don't think he'll be the only candidate we look to speak to next week. This is what I'm guessing. Hard to be lover Viera would be their number one choice right now.

Who knows, either his appointment could mean an improvement in our approach, or he could end up sacrificing his managerial career before it starts. Superior Acuña
I'd be pretty surprised by this, I thought Viera was highly rated and widely expected to be next Man City manager?!

Guest firetotheworks
Someone new to hate. I don't want to hate Vieira. He was a bit of a knob at times, but I loved him as a player.
Hanshithispantz
I honestly think this is just their way of trying to look like they're on the ball.

B-more Mag
Why would we take a punt on him but not Gourvannec, Garde or Galtier? Because going after one of them would be rational.
Mike
I honestly think this is just their way of trying to look like they're on the ball. We're so skeptical of shit that's just normal at other clubs.

maybe_next_year
I'd rather we go for an appointment like this and it all go tits up than appoint Carver, where it will inevitably go tits up or another boring, bang average manager. At least it'll provide a reason to watch us, to see what happens.
Klaus
I imagine our players would at least respect him for what he has achieved in the game, makes him 100x better than Carver for a start.
AyeDubbleYoo
The Laing's quality and so is Baltic. Durham Uni has a good oriental gallery. That's just for starters man Remi.
