Guest palnese
Austin all day long.
Teasy
Austin or a weird little gender bender looking ex Man Utd freak who insists on calling himself "little pea". Yeah think I'd prefer Austin Or even better neither of them, instead go for someone with loads of pace, something we don't have much of.
Kanj
Berahino for me like.
Noodles
Berahino for me like. If we're quibbling over £15m for Austin, there's no fucking way we'd pay the £20m+ that WBA want.
ads
Almost 50 pages of sheer nothingness. This board is a wonderful place.
Darth Crooks
Especially when up until an hour ago I thought this thread was about Charlie Adam, turns out it doesn't make a difference jajajaja
Kanj
Berahino for me like. If we're quibbling over £15m for Austin, there's no f***ing way we'd pay the £20m+ that WBA want. 4 years younger. Far more fit. Far more versatile. He's worth it IMO
Teasy
Also has a bit longer on his contract (2 years left rather than 1 like Austin).
KaKa
Watch him start for them this weekend and get injured in the 1st minute. QPR are nuts.
Sho Time
I can't believe he hasn't signed yet. I mean, Amy said it was a done deal last week! Amy also said she'd get her kit off in Zoo if Bas Dost didn't sign. I wonder if she's going to flash the gash to cars on the coast road if Austin doesn't come. sempuki
QPR manager Chris Ramsey on Charlie Austin: “We’re getting calls all the time but not the right ones. The player WANTS to go.” #NUFC
Chris_R
Haha, Pardew-esque in his attempts to ship him out. Reckon the calls are all saying "Have you lowered your ridiculous demands yet? No? OK, bye for now.".

Dave
If we're really interested, but have concerns over this alleged shoulder issue and QPR are willing to drop their asking price, this will drag on until the death.
Dr Venkman
We always pay upfront, no?

KaKa
These guys have lost a game so the pressure will be ramped up. They will end up in a really bad position if they don't drop that price.
Hanshithispantz
Yeah, they'll be in a far better position once they've sold their best forward.
Mole_Toonfan
Yeah, they'll be in a far better position once they've sold their best forward.
KaKa
Yeah, they'll be in a far better position once they've sold their best forward. The guy wants to leave man. Sooner they sell the sooner they can replace him. If he gets stuck there don't think it will benefit them personally.
Kanj
I'd take him but I'd rather see us get a perfect winger or foil for Mitrovic.
Scoot
The Mirror havn't half talked shite about Austin all summer. They said "Austin to Newcastle" was "done" a few weeks back.
Stottie
From their viewpoint, if they think he can get them promotion, they should keep him and let him walk for free next summer. Promotion will be worth what 50M?, four times what they'll get by selling him. From our time in the Championship, the biggest difference looked to be in the quality of strikers. You can make defensive mistakes and not get punished. See also the number that Nolan and Shola scored. You'd expect Austin to get 25 plus if he plays 40+ games. If Spurs have ended up with no cover for Kane this late in the window, I can see him going there though.
