Thats just a personal opinion, the point was more that he's still a manager thats in the middle of his career and was upwardly mobile, and that he's a manager a lot of clubs would have sought, the same with Nagelsmann and Tuchel. (As an example I could have seen all three of them at Man United to replace Ten Haag)

 

Normally these sorts of jobs are given to managers like Carsley or Southgate who have "been in the system", or towards the end of their career like a Hodgson.
