Would’ve been extremely useful for the defence, which looked a bit ropey v Albania in the first half, to play against someone who is genuinely world class before it being a potential decider in a tournament. They could sometimes play without the second pivot in midfield, or pick someone more adventurous there (Ward-Prowse for me). They're also involved in a lot of easy or meaningless games.
