Frightening speed to the play and some absolutely brilliant performances from Madueke, Philogene and Elliot. Would have any of them here in a heartbeat, Madueke just needs slightly better decision making and he could play anywhere IMO, top player. Madueke just played for Chelsea today in Atlanta…. La Parka
U21s in quarters against Spain tonight. I've been thoroughly unimpressed by most of the England squad we've seen. Tinos been good going forward but defensively sus at times. Going forward Rowe has been poor. Mcatee and Elliott are very technical and offer little physicality. Hutchinson is better, dynamic and direct. Can't even remember who's in centre mid 😂 keeper has been good for a lad with a shrunken hand. Defensively Gray doesn't look like a right back, Quansah is ok, carries the ball well but defensively not great and the other CB is just a lump 😂 Shit forgot Anderson. He's been great. A Bruno regen. I want to cry every time he plays. Edited June 21, 2025 by La Parka

Sibierski
Be interesting to see what link up Tino and Elliot have tonight. Could be a potential RW combo for us.
gbandit
There’s no doubt Elliot is a good player but he’s too short for Howe. Unless Eddie can bray an extra few inches into him by snapping his legs in training and extending them, it’s not happening
Hanshithispantz
Aye, it says he's 5ft 7 on wiki but surely he's closer to 5ft 2? It throws you off seeing him stand next to other players in the lineups. Edited June 22, 2025 by Hanshithispantz

Surely he's just being allowed to settle in Madrid in new environment rather than being dropped?
