samptime29
Surely has to be Kane/Rooney up top for the Euros. I think they'd work well together.
The College Dropout
50 goals for England is an excellent achievement, no doubt. Just 6 goals in finals tells a slightly different story though. Yep. Not sure why they're making it out to be a nigh-on unbeatable record, though. If someone like Kane steps up and starts banging in two or three when we play the likes of Lithuania, San Marino etc as well as getting a few in tournaments, it'll be passed easily. How many european players have over 50-60.. 70 goals at international level? David Villa managed 58. Klose is on 70 something. Cronaldo on 55. Rooney will top out closer to Klose than Villa. We will have to have some real success in the near future for someone like Kane to catch him. Robbie Keane has 67 Half a chance Wayne can catch him. Hard to see Wayne playing for England at 35 though.
mozy
All that means is that he's a better goalscorer, not a better striker and certainly not a better player. What the fuck are you on about. Goalscoring is part of being a player. Rooney's record is great and we'll done to him but he's never a better striker than Lineker, his England record changes nothing. Edit: hold on you on about Rooney or Lineker? Darren Bent and Javier Hernandez are goalscorers. They are also shit footballers and limited strikers. I never saw Linekar play so the point wasn't about comparing the two, only that goals are not a wholly accurate measuring stick with which to judge 'better striker?'. Ronaldo
Javier Hernandez isn't a shit footballer, mind. As strikers go he's not Didier Drogba but he can do the basics well.
Neil
Hernandez shit and limited. Absolute garbage. A very tidy player and will bang them in for Leverkusen. A better than 1 in 3 record for Man Utd despite constantly being used from the bench, and scored countless important goals. That must be a wind-up. Kanji
Hernandez has some of the best movement in the box I've ever seen.
Froggy
He was lethal in front of goal. When he came back from Madrid his all round game seem to have improved massively, but his finishing was then shocking. He basically got two chances to prove his worth when he came back. He put it over an open goal from 6 yards and missed a penalty and that was that. A great professional though and will be do the business for Leverkusen. Was sad to see him go, and it's a great price. He's a poacher and that's it. Can't hold the ball up or win it in the air, isn't in the slighest bit creative and doesn't have a particularly good touch or dribbling ability. Guest firetotheworks
If you'd said he was limited in the first place I don't think anyone would have said anything, because he is. But you said he was a shit footballer, a limited striker, and lumped him in with Darren Bent.
The College Dropout
2 footed finisher, good in the air despite being relatively short. Excellent movement. Darren Bent comparison is very harsh. I would have had him as a Cisse replacement all day.

Smal
He's more than decent, an' all. Perfectly suited to the league too. Possibly a bit early for England but we'll see.

Interpolic
Who on earth is Tom Heaton?! England sub-goalkeepers are less well known than reality show contestants these days. Remember when we had Seaman, Martin, James, etc all pushing for a start. Forrins ruin everything.

He'll do more for England than Wilshere.
