If Raheem Sterling played for Dortmund (etc) he would probably be tearing it up. We have some good players, certainly enough to put together a better team than the likes of Portugal. It's massive. It's the highest quality of football. I can't say you're a top player unless you're doing it in the CL. Sterling's had 2 CL campaigns. He's not really impressed in either. Ergo, he's clearly not the finished article. Doing well in the CL also speaks to a players mentality. We don't have a Ronaldo, we don't have a Pepe.
