Ours is absolute shite like, terrible tune and increasingly irrelevant lyrics. It's no wonder we do so badly when we blast that dirge at our players before every game. I've always said since we do not compete as GB or the UK then we shouldn't be using "God Save the Queen" especially when the likes of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland don't. I'm not religious in the slightest but love Jerusalem, Land of hope and Glory is another much better alternative. I don't hate God save the queen, I just don't think it's appropriate. Spot on. What if he's the best English CB in the country? Is he ? I must say I've not ever seen enough of him to make that determination, just because Man City spent 50 million on him, doesn't prove it. Very impressive in a well protected defence. Likewise to a lesser degree Lascelles and Mawson hence why the step up is so hard and so often intl managers prefer Alan Shitpass from the CL club.
