Some genuinely think he's a very good player. WE got promoted from the championship last time because the other teams didn't have finishers and we did. If he's our striker next season, we might well be the other team. We don't exactly play to his strengths though do we? If Andy Carroll had this lot for service he'd be absolutely knackered. What are his strengths? He is shite in the air and his heading is awful. His shooting and finishing are also awful. You're shite and awful. Why? Because I point out that Mitrović can't hit a barn door? He's proved me correct for most of the season. However much anyone 'loves' him he's failed to do the job. I think a year in the Championship will do him wonders to be honest. Even had we survived I would have argued that a season long loan in the Championship would be a good move. Not one player brought in who specialises in crossing and no other player at the club who works well from flick on's / knock downs. Blame 21 year old striker for being s***. That's BS. 20 goals? 10 would have been nice. Or at least hits the target whenever he gets a chance. We were hoping for a useful striker. Instead we got a donkey! Aye. Strength, power, heading ability, (hasn't shown it too much for us but I've seen evidence of a good finisher elsewhere), presence, decent enough hold up play / link up play. I'll flip this around, because so many people on this board absolutely wank over Perez, but I see very little difference in the potential of both players (although they're very different in style). Mitro broke that saying this season. He's missed so many chances. He had at least 3 today. You'd expect a competent striker to score at least one of them.
