That does sound like something he'd come out with I know he wears the no.45 as 4+5=9. If Cissé departs the club I don't see what's to stop him from taking it

Vastly overrated, especially in his own head.

Ikon
I think he will be lethal once he gets his confidence up and provided some good delivery hopefully. Probably wont have as much pressure on his shoulders from the off compared to last season. I have high hopes for him and i'm sure he will show his talent this season. Oh, and stay calm please

Guest
Pelle had 16 goals in 82 games predominantly in Serie B when he was at the same stage of his career as Mitrovic.

Absolute rubbish really, do you think so? just watching pelle - he is decent with either foot and is a much better header of the ball. his finishing has greatly improved recently but he's always had a great touch. ponsaelius
Pelle is like living proof that players of this ilk take years to hit their peak. He was poor for a long time in Italian football.
Guest
It's the same throughout the course of this thread. People saying he's shit or won't be good enough, compare him to a striker at a later stage of his career, when at the same age Mitrovic had done better. mrmojorisin75
Some Dennis Wise views of Matt Ritchie suggest to me Mitro will like playing with the lad a lot.

But then relying on potential instead of the buying the finished article is what got us relegated.
Guest
That shouldn't be levelled at Mitrovic though. That's the club's doing.
TRon
That shouldn't be levelled at Mitrovic though. That's the club's doing. Well I imagine that's why we have ditched this disastrous policy and hired a manager who actually knows how to manage. I've got nothing against Mitrovic, but i'm glad we aren't relying on his goals this season. He's got potential, but that makes him fit to fight for a spot in my books. Nothing more.
