Hanshithispantz
Do you not think the FA don't make decisions based on external factors like?
xLiaaamx
Phil Neville is a f***ing weasel like. "OH HE'S IN BIG TROUBLE" aye he is now you little grass. Aye, the FA are relying on MotD for their decisions They definitely react to things more if pundits highlight it.
Figures 1-0 Football
The fact that nobody, including the West Ham player who threw himself to floor were calling for a red card, suggests that it was nothing. Fully expect the FA to throw him under the bus though - despite 2x Huddersfield players and Harry Kane doing much worse to us and getting away with naff all. Hanshithispantz
But aye I'm sure a media witch hunt by prominent figures won't have any bearing on it at all. The FA's history of impartial and fair bias precedes them.
triggs
The angle which shows both them both face on looks very bad
Interpolic
Lanzini was pretty angry like, and was gesturing that he'd been elbowed.
Hanshithispantz
Don't think it was on MOTD but a short while after the incident he gestured towards Mitrovic basically saying 'what the fuck you doing?' He definitely got clattered.
joeyt
No idea why he did it like, the ball's gone, we're 2-0 up and it was hardly a threatening position Lanzini was in.

KaKa
The guy is gone for three games. He will likely be shipped out during that period. Rafa will be completely fed up.
Hanshithispantz
In any case, he'll be banned for 3 games and that's our 2 legit psychos suspended within the first 3 games. Benitez won't be happy with them at all like. EDIT: What Kaka says, aye.
Incognito
He'll definitely get a ban despite me thinking at the time it was an innocuous collision. Mind you, I may have previous for bias toward our men. [emoji23]

Hanshithispantz
Caught Lanzini with an elbow/forearm when challenging for the ball. Debatable whether or not it was intentional imo but it being Mitrovic obviously swings it more to 'he probably meant it' which is his own fault really. It'll be a definite 3 game ban like. Greg
It will all come down to if the referee and his assistants have seen it and thought nothing of it or if the referee claims in his match report he didn't see it at all.
Sho Time
His reputation and the fact that slimeballs like Phil Neville are calling for bans will be more of a bearing factor on if he gets charged, as opposed to the incident itself. To me it's clear that he tries to use his body weight to push Lanzini off the ball and leans in with his forearm, which results in an accidental elbow - especially due to Lanzini's size and that he slinks down when he plays that pass. Because of his reputation people will go down the "he meant it because he's fucking stupid" rhetoric but I just don't buy that.

Benwell Lad
Nothing really which is probably why ref, linesman and no one else saw anything at the time. Just the usual BBC anti Mitrovic agenda, the retarded Neville brother and a few other usual suspects trying to big it up. If that's worthy of MOTD time then they could probably make a one hour spin off show of all the weekend's similar stuff and Hudderfield last week could have a show of their own.
