I'd say spending over 10m on a triker under Ashley's era is a coup, but in general it's something we should expect year in year out considering the club's stature and resources. But who cares honestly, lets just hope he does well.

What Fenham surely meant to say is that Maric and Mitrovic were both born in Yugoslavia. It was the same country when they were born.

Mitrovic was born in 1994. Serbia and Croatia were awarded in 1991.

Ah right, Wikipedia caught me out, someone best change it before it starts another war.

Nah, Wikipedia is right. FR Yugoslavia was the successor state that followed SFR Yugoslavia. Was renamed Serbia and Montenegro in 2003.

But Serbia and Croatia are not the same country since 1991. So, Mitrovic was born in Serbia and Maric in Yugoslavia.

Yeah but Mitrovic was born in 1994 when your country was known as FR Yugoslavia (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia). Maric was born in SFR Yugoslavia (Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia).

I know they weren't born in the same country, but what I'm saying is Wikipedia is correct (where Fenham Mag got confused).

Shefki Kuqi was born in SFR Yugoslavia as well,  on the present territory of Kosovo.

If he's half the player Shefki was I'll be fucking stoked.

Who is going to provide the ammunition this lad needs? Looks very good in the air, where is the width/service coming from?

Will we rely more on Janmaat or left back to overlap more this season and provide the balls in? If so, we best be looking for a decent LB as well.

Aarons surely will get more games this season if he stays injury free. Gini surely will provide service from the middle. I agree though, we need to sign another winger.
