54
Barcelona currently losing against Real Sociedad, if it sticks Atletico will only be 3 point off them and Real 4.

Wullie
Had a feeling this would happen to Barca tonight. Their recent record at Sociedad is really poor and without Suarez they're susceptible to be shut down by ten men behind the ball as they used to be a couple of years ago. Geordie Ahmed
Barca lose Only 1 point from the last 9, would be crazy if they lose this after the lead they had built up Think it will be no CL or La Liga for them

brummie
Fucking Norwich. Theres a lot to be said for getting it sorted as early as you can. I was all prepared for the remaining lightly burning ember of my giving a shit about our season to be snuffed out but fucking Norwich killed that hope off. This is all weird. Four years of escaping in the last week or so means I'd accepted we'd eventually fail to escape, but I'd assumed it'd be a last week or two thing. We've actually been down since we shamefully didn't spend anything in January, though, so we've had all this time to get used to it. Every single villa fan I know wanted it to be mathematically confirmed yesterday. That feels like the earliest point at which we can start to rebuild. Although we can't properly do that until the useless pampered manchild who got bored of playing with daddy's money finally fucks off.
brummie
Incidentally, the bottom three are a fucking great example of how mismanagement can fuck up football clubs. All they had to do was show the bare minimum of nous - even more than spending money - and rake it in while worse organised newly promoted clubs got relegated. Instead you now have clubs like us, you and Sunderland looking like relics while the likes of Watford and Bournemouth cope with the modern game It isn't money that has really done for us, it is idiotic 'management' and terrible appointments

STM
It's no suprise that the 3 worst run clubs, with the 3 worst owners are probably getting relegated. I have no love for either Sunderland or Villa but can't help but feel for the plight of the fans, who are going through the same shite.
Leazes_End_Mag
I have no idea why but im near on certain that Sunderland will win today and start their great survival story again.
sbnufc
How are Villa confirmed relegated if Sunderland win today? Sunderland win and they go to 30 points. Villa have 15 to play for, which would take them to 31. Norwich are on 31, Sunderland & Newcastle less. edit: aaah, cause Sunderland play Norwich
Guest
How are Villa confirmed relegated if Sunderland win today? Sunderland win and they go to 30 points. Villa have 15 to play for, which would take them to 31. Norwich are on 31, Sunderland & Newcastle less. Because next week if Sunderland win, one of them will have at least 32.
