He's showing when he can. The ball bounces off him to the opposition half the time, and the other half, should he manage to control it, he passes it straight to them. He has been very bad. Janmaat had a few niggly tackles before the sending off, it always looked likely that he was going to walk at some point and McClaren should have seen that. What's McClaren meant to do, like? Sub him? Righto. Not a manager in the league would've done that. I know I'm taking the p*ss. Soton took Cedric off last week when he was booked and still getting rinsed. Nowt stopping McClaren taking Janmaat off before HT. If we had a right back that could come on and do job that would make sense. We could only stick Anita there who will get raped too by Montero. The better option would have been to protect Janmaat more and even have a word with him to calm him down. Leaving him to get shit on more until he brain farts a second yellow hasn't worked.
