Goal you have celebrated the most?

Recommended Posts

The Cisse one against Chelsea I hardly celebrated as it was just pure disbelief that it had actually happened

Just remember looking at my mate at the pub for a good few seconds, jaw on the floor.

Same  Never really cheered because it took ages to work out what I'd actually just seen.

Shearer at Portsmouth.

Cisse against Chelsea.

And for some reason I went absolutely mental when Ibrahimovic scored that goal against England. It was a friendly and I'm not even Swedish ffs

Messi in the 2011 CL final.

Suárez in the 2015 CL final.

Iniesta in the 2010 WC final.

I'm sorry.  :whatdidido:

Iniesta against Chelsea?

I was going to say this for a goal not concerning Newcastle. fantastic moment

Live at SJP is a tricky one as it's been so long any of them have meant anything. The last one was probably HBA's against Bolton.

On the road live would be Solano's 3-4 winner against Leeds though oddly Cabaye's stoppage time free kick equaliser against Blackburn in the cup  also was bedlam.

I cried with joy at Rob Lee's equaliser against Chelsea at Wembley.

As for TV it would have to be Bellamy at Feynoord or Robert against Arsenal to break our London hoodoo.

The scariest was in the Gallowgate corner for Spurs 2-2 (Gazza's return) or Quinn's 4 goal haul against Leeds 5-2.

Robert against Arsenal to break our London hoodoo.

I was just about to post that. What an unbelievable season that was until the wheels came off when Bellamy got injured. A few years of shite under Dalglish and Gullit and then a rebuilding process for a couple under SBR. I don't think anyone expected the transformation in the 01-02 season. I had to leave a boozer in Coventry when the 3rd went in at Highbury, thought I was having a heart attack.

Said this before but I genuinely think that's the greatest moment in football history.

Away from most celebrated, how about goals that have made you laugh the most. I genuinely couldn't get over Sammy Ameobi at Hull last year for a good 10 minutes.

Shola's scissor kick finish against the mackems had me howling. How can he do that, just how?

Was it Darius Vassell for City who scored that hilarious scuffed effort at the Stadium of Light? Whoever scored that goal I was fucking pissing myself

For another perspective: Villa's winner against Man City at Wembley, Roberts' equalizer against Anderlecht in the UEFA Final, Lineker's goal against Arsenal in the semi (to make it 2-0) and Stalteri's winner at West Ham. Not sure I can work out which was top tbh - probably Roberts.

Hoddle's last goal for us was special, although I don't remember if I went batshit mental or not. You can hear my Dad on the commentary, so I can't have gone that mad. The non-Spurs "goal" I celebrated most was Sol Campbell's one against Argentina that was disallowed, sadly.

"Man City 2-1 Sunderland" into Youtube, absolutely amazing. About 1.30 in. It's fucking class, worst winning goal ever scored

Cisse's second against Liverpool in 2012 was a good one. Quite embarrassing for the racialists.

That game wasn't on the telly here but I remember following it live on local Ceefax and losing it when Robert's name popped up. Then after the game spent ages looking at the league table waiting for it to get updated.

Will always remember Bent's in the 5-1 being met with a mixture of laughter and ironic cheers from our lot.
