Play like we did Sunday with that commitment and execution going forward and we could nick a win. Mitro / Perez / Gini / and if Sunday's Sissoko shows up and that's how we get our 3 points. We won't keep a clean sheet, thats for sure.

Not looking forward to this at all. Allardyce will have them defending deep and he'll fancy their chances of scoring from a set piece with our defenders. Both defences will concede so a 1-1 draw looks to be a decent bet.

If we concede first we'll be fortunate to get a draw.

If we score first we could really do them.

It's the oldest cliche in the book, but it's almost a certainty this won't be 0-0. The first goal is so important for us, both because of the way we (and they) play and because of our fragile mental state.

To paraphrase Gary Lineker:

Football is a simple game. 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and, at the end, the mackems always win the derby.

1-0

Actually, before Pardew's rein of horror, we usually done them in the derbies.

I can't remember the good times. Scarred by Pardew. Scarrdew.

Think we'll have to score 3 to win.

Can see us losing 2-1 and once again handing them a Prem life line, even this early into the season. IF the mackems lose, they will be looking absolutely fucked, especially as the 'new manager' effect wont be working either. Exactly why we'll lose.
