Stifler
Apparently he's on 80k and week and has said that he wants more to stay. West Ham have expressed an interest in him and his dad wants him to go there. Needless to say NUFC are waiting for a suitable offer before shifting him along. Tiotes Witch Doctor
I thought after the West Ham game he would be a revelation for us, but since that game hes been utter toilet, I'm not even convinced I want to see him in the championship, decent offer comes in move him and and invest in someone more mobile and who is more likely to give a fuck. huss9
Danny Guthrie and Kevin Nolan, were about as mobile for Neville Southall and Neil Ruddock. Yet we won the league easily, with that centre midfield pairing for a large chunk of the season. His lack of mobility and athleticism, won't be such a problem a league down. He'll get the time on the ball that he needs, as well. It's why the likes of Barton look brilliant in the Champ and then average as a centre mid, in the prem. It sounds cocky and arrogant, but I still think people are overestimating this league. Hull and Burnley have just bounced straight back and I'd argue we're sitting in a better position than they were this time last year. Guthrie, Barton and Nolan might not have been athletic but they tracked back and put their foot in. That's the issue with Shelvey, central midfield is not a part of the pitch where you can just stroll around watching other players do the running. they also had guts, brains and desire. toontownman
I have no worries about Jonjo. He could be an absolutely huge player for us. I think he has fantastic ability and potential given his age too. If he leaves it is because he wont achieve it here in Rafa's eyes, if he stays it is because Rafa rates him. Either way is good enough for me.

ElDiablo
If we can find a system that works with him I think he'll be class for us. Perhaps he does need to be played a little further forward, because his positioning and defensive ability needs massive work. It's literally terrible from what I've seen. You forgot that he might stay because no-one would want to buy him or that no-one wants to pay 80k a week for him..
TRon
Get rid if there's money on the table I'd snatch their hands off if anyone offered us close to our money back. I know the market's inflated but £12m was a waste of money on him.
Mole_Toonfan
He'd probably light up the championship in fairness to him, i'd just rather move on from a lot of the pre-Rafa players and start a fresh tbh.
The College Dropout
get rid. Rafa will seemingly start Colback over him and that's enough reason to get rid. He's not a kid he's 24 and has had the same problems throughout his career. Mentally I just don't think he has what it takes to be a good PL player and with his wages I don't want him in the team. He's a bad, lazy egg imo.
Tsunami
He showed very little effort after his debut. His words in the press weren't followed up with performances. He's got ability but not the attitude needed. I'd get rid; he's on an awful lot of money and doesn't appear to realise that he has to perform week in week out. Scoot
I agree, i think he is going to be a massive player for us this coming season. Seems like he means business as well with him not having a holiday and losing weight over the summer.

Not really a fan so far, but fair play to the lad if his attitude was the problem, then he's going about it in the right way to put that right. joeyt
Desperately needs to improve his mobility around the pitch so hopefully losing the weight will be very beneficial
