Happy with this, except if he wears number 88 :anguish:

Can't do that in PL

Sure about that? Bendtner wore 52.

Yeah and he was stopped from going higher. You could only have number #88 if you already have 87 players registered. That's why city have some with high numbers (Iheanacho with 72 for example), they register all their kids.

eh? You saying Newcastle have 44 players registered letting Mitro take 45?  Not sure about that like

Judging by the players with squad numbers that appear on this list, it doesn't seem like it's that far fetched?

Found this on Wiki about the number btw

Players may now wear any number (as long as it is unique within their squad) between 1 and 99. To date, the highest number worn by a player in the Premier League is 78, by Manchester City's José Ángel Pozo v Sunderland on 3 December 2014.

So he could have 88

That is from a terribly written Wikipedia article and has no citation whatsoever. If players could wear any they'd have done it 10 times over by now. Especially with all the idiots signed from Serie A.

Man City register all their youngsters, hence why you get kids coming on for them with daft numbers. But if you don't have enough players you can't just choose a stupidly high one like can be done in Italy.
