Stoke City 1-0 Newcastle United - post match standing watching from page 24

Recommended Posts

We have 18 days off, warm weather training and the result is this shite, somebody cave McClarens head in.

Ready made excuse. Had 18 days without playing, we're "off the pace" because of that

Want to be put out of my misery here sooner rather than later. This is awful, is it worse than the shit Pardew served up? I can't remember as it was like all different kinds of shit chucked into a slowly dying blender.

Really wish we would get someone half decent in who has more charisma than a damp sock, and more intelligence than the moron still wearing it.

So I gather that we are shit. How are Stoke playing?

Aye, they aren't particularly good but they are bossing it.

Typical away performance from us, keep it tight hope for a draw.

Typical would be us being ridiculously open and conceding three goals.

I'm not watching but I hope we can hold out and the subs can give us something... anything.

Mitrovic not having his best game, not holding anything atall.

Be useful if we had a secondary tactic beyond hoping he'll create every attack.

Mitrovic probably doesn't remember what to do with the ball.

This is the way we approach every game mentally at least. Stoke just haven't scored yet.
