Call me a cynic or heartless but offering to give any donations beyond the cost of the plane just looks like a defence against anyone saying the plane is a shit idea (it is).

'How can it be a shit idea? I'm donating money to Bradley Lowery you heartless pig.

Flying a plane over your nearest rivals' football stadium to convey well wishes to a dying child?

Honestly, the world's just a fucking insane place.

Fair enough when you say it like that.

My sentiment, maybe misplaced was not to have a plane go over taking the piss, but do something nice instead. But yeah, well played, consider me told.

Aye it's embarrassing to even contemplate it.

Them going down will be 'retribution' for their planes, our defeats to them etc. Lets never ever lower ourselves to their level. We are Newcastle United, a club they will never be like. We are Geordies. People they will never be like and as for our great City... well, if this rivalry was a boxing match, it wouldn't last round 1. No contest really!

They probably need 5 wins from their last 9 games, and perhaps a draw or two. That will get them to 35 points plus. Not impossible but since they only have 5 wins in their first 29 it would be an amazing turnaround in form.

I can see Hull reaching 36 points, their home form is good and they have 3 very winnable home games (including against Sunderland) left.  Crystal Palace need to be Sunderland's target.  They've got a harder run-in than those around them, but even then it's hard to see them not picking up a couple of points at worst.

They might have left the great escape act a little too late this year.

God lets please please please not fucking chip in for a plane. It was fucking small time when they did it and will be fucking small time if we do it. And the idea of having a message for Bradley Lowery - just give the fucking money to his cause. Honestly man, we should be better than this shit

If they go down, thats been their golden years.

10 years in the top flight, a cup final, 7 relegation fights. not a sniff of Europe

granted the derby wins give them that- thats it their golden era.

Just remember we had the Keegan era, the Robson years, 100+ games in Europe.
