More bad news for Sunderland when it was announced that the FA Trophy replay between South Shields and Farsely Celtic would be on Tuesday, clashing with their Home game with Bolton. Yet more pressure on their attendances.

Sunderland in discussions with the Football League to get thwir game put back till the Wednesday I'm hearing.

I was listening to Talksport as all the 3pm games kicked off yesterday and the first thing their match reporter mentioned was the wind and all the shit swirling round the pitch.  I find it funny as fuck that they're starting to get recognised as scruffy bastards on a national level now

They’ll always return, at some point. Someone will buy them at their lowest and do very little with it, enough to get them back up the leagues to at least the championship as their crowds will still be a huge advantage in the lower leagues as further down they go the bigger advantage it will be.

i know it's been mooted jokingly but if ashley flogs us they'd be the perfect club for him really

he'd come in with the priority of balancing the finances his way and getting the club to the point of surviving in the PL...he'd be a fucking legend over there

This week could make or break them. Bolton in midweek, a win there and their tails will be up for the Boro game and they could end the week outside of the relegation zone.

They have the luck of the devil, so no doubt it will happen.

Dunno like. Every week I think 'Surely they will win this week' and then they don't

Ah well... maybe just as well , but having said that anyone know if his form has picked up, wherever he is ?

Based on the fact he’s made a total of 1 league appearance for Rangers since signing for them in January, I’d say not  Not even on the bench for them yesterday (maybe injured, I dont know).

He was turning out for Port Vale last season, yet we were playing him in the Premier League :anguish:

If they hadn't of went on like they won the title when we got relegated, then i would feel sorry for them as North East football has been in the pits for too long and for the friends I have that support them.  But they can get fucked.

Said it before but to be so deluded/bitter to be unable to acknowledge we have one of the world's best managers is incomprehensible to me.

The 'he couldn't save you' spiel doesn't really work that well either as Rafa isn't an immediate impact manager or a survival specialist.

If we still had Pardew and they got Ancellotti how many of us would be falling over ourselves to prove he wasn't top class?

They're mental.

Love that they thought they had hit the big time because of the 6 in a row against us. All thinking they were a big club after beating us.  Bless.
