Sunderland vs Accrington Stanley might actually be a league fixture.

"Accrington Stanley, who are they?"

Yet again they’re right on the brink, one result away from sealing it. Seems like every time we need Barnsley or Birmingham to win they don’t and it’s another lifeline for them. Here we are again, Birmingham win tomorrow and they’re fucking toast. Done.

This place severely overrates them and always has. [emoji38]

It's just a defense mechanism man, a Just In Case

They're bad, but not bottom of the table going in to League One bad. They should have been mid table without much fuss, instead we've been entertained with a  cataclysmic free-fall which the entire footballing country is creasing at. But, we know too well their ability to fluke their way out of trouble and half expect them to do so, even with 3 games to go and 8pts behind i'd still think they've got a chance, and they would do as this is a false position and on balance they are expected to have a good run at some point. Time is running out though, just fuck off and be done with it.

You see, I don't think it's a false position at all.

They're striker has about 8 career goals.

They have Lee Cattermole in midfield

37 year old John O'shea and Marc "no one wants me" Wilson in defence.

I don't see what talent they have that makes this a false position at all.

Hoy the three disastrous keepers they have into the equation and that's Division 1 standard right there

Leeds (a) L

Norwich (h) D

Reading (a) D

Burton (h) W

Fulham (a) L

Wolves (h) L

Think they've got 5pts in them, really they need to win those 3 middle games to stay up.

Never thought I'd see the day. Hopefully we bounce right back. God knows what our team will look like and who our manager will be. Coleman surely won't stay. Short has ruined the club I love. We are not the club we once were. At least we'll keep the Derby record for a while.

They still talk of keeping the derby record even though it's by default. It's like playing a game of tag with someone who hurls themselves into the mouth of a volcano to avoid being tagged back. If they went into liquidation they'd hold the record forever!
