The College Dropout
Like how he's gone to talk to Shelvey about something in the game. Dumb fool probably isn't listening.
AyeDubbleYoo
TBF to Shelvey he set up the second with some very quick thinking there.
CPL
Probably told him to keep the ball rather than risk giving possession away, although it did lead to the second.
toontownman
Had a good game did the bald eagle. Very well drilled performance again from Rafa's team. I worry with soaking up too much pressure but that's Rafa's deal. Difference with Rafa's team to Pardew's doing it is that all the players are working hard for each other, covering each other and understand the tactics. They just sit deep, get men behind the ball and hope for the best. It;s confidence and effort with Pardew. These are being orchestrated defensively by Rafa. mrmojorisin75
thought it was telling how deep we sat first half and then early second, at some point in the second half we pushed 15-20 yards up and pushed onto them winning the ball a lot and getting to a lot of second balls felt like we should have been doing that from the off but i guess that's not rafa's thing
Dr Venkman
I realise this is affected by being a division lower, but, he's turned us into a team that wins by being good at set pieces. That's not far off being a miracle.

That's not far off being a miracle. I remember the days, people stopped getting excited when we won a corner under Pardew et al, knowing full well it would come to fuck all. AyeDubbleYoo
I still find it hard to believe there's any threat from a set piece TBH.

Wullie
5 live now- monday night club discussing us/ the relegation run in. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_radio_five_live Frightening levels of drivel. Chris Sutton is one of the stupidest people on the press circuit. Imagine uttering the phrase: "Rafa Benitez is a big gamble, especially when Nigel Pearson is available" with a straight face. Still chuckling at this.
