He needs to revise his approach to home games or we'll be in the play-offs.

Before this game we'd been unbeaten at home for 6 games, and have only lost 2 in 12 games.

And today, his tactics have us 2-0 down against Fulham.

And our home form is below 6 other clubs in the league.  It's pathetic and could cost us big time.

6 clubs are better than us at home and you're actually defending it? You're a fucking parody, man.

Our performances have been awful recently at home.

No excuses for the home record anymore.

Except that you can guarantee that people will flood this thread like a bunch of brainwashed morons  to protect our dear leader.

Our home form isnt the greatest, and we have played poorly, there is no disputing that, but to say that we have change our entire approach, because of people being reactionary, is idiotic.

Bristol City - played average to rubbish.

Villa - won and got the job done. Far from pleasant but decent enough.

Derby - won but we were average.

QPR - drew and we were average to rubbish.

Rotherham - awful for 45 minutes then once we got one they collapsed.

Forest - good game.

1 possibly 2 where I'd say it was a good match out of those previous 6 you mentioned. I understand getting points and seeing games out, but we are dross at home for a side expecting to win the league.

We don't actually need many changes, though. Colback off for a more attacking threat would probably do the trick.

I think us expecting/wanting to win the league might encourage us to improve/change our home approach in light of how bad it is in relation to our nearest rivals.

This has been coming for a while, with Rafa's tactics.

Never mind it's been coming, it's been happening all season. It's our away form which has kept us top, at home we are garbage.

Watching Newcastle Online transistion to RAWK over the season has been sad

Not doing himself any favours with the passive defensive tactics at home. Lucky his  last name is benitez. Former nufc managers would not have gotten away with such home form and gutless tactics. (still like Rafa, but has to sort this out).

Complete bottler at home.

It's not that, his rigid tactics away work as it all about shape, defensive cohesion and hard work.

At home it's awful and looks poor (at times). He needs to be more flexible but what do we know, we just watch it.

We should be set up to batter teams at home. We're the best side in the league and should behave like it at home. Instead teams like Bristol City come here and take something away.

The loss is bad, the reaction in here will be worse, and it'll be a total cringe festival.

And we'll have people on their high horses like yourself who will just post in here to say stuff like this.

Yeah let's not go mad. He's getting it wrong at home but we're still top of the league with players who are Championship level all day long.

This is so true.  The answers will always be somewhere in between.

Doubled by Fulham in the Championship. Got to be a low mark on his CV, that.

Still though, he won't change anything, it either starts working somehow or we end up in the playoffs

Fulham play decent football. Blackburn doing the double is way worse.
