nufcjb
Boils my piss that we have such a gentleman like Rafa guiding the club but then also have such a cunt owning us. How can anyone make Ashley change or just fuck off man?
mrmojorisin75
I think we need more Rafa flags. we need more rafa everything
U2
"We were not demanding crazy things." I love how that one simple sentence demolishes Ashley's entire argument.
mattypnufc
Could it be that when the initial transfers were mooted (Abraham and Willy) was when's Carr was still around? Seems like the timing is about right for him to have been peddled when these transfers fell through. Perhaps that's the delay as was due to him, hence why he got his marching orders? Could be wrong considering Charnley seems to be a useless shite mind.
Guest reefatoon
After Ashley came out and tried to play the club down and put a damper on it all, the doom and gloom was setting in. Rafa comes out and fires everyone back up and lifts the atmosphere again. Can't wait for the game. One bloke is a born winner and motivator, the other is a cunt. Come on Toons! nufc4eva
Sadly there is only one way this will end and that will be him walking away end of this season. Not a good start with Rafa unhappy with Ashley, If Rafa goes because of that dick I really do t care about football anymore. One glimmer of hope snatched away again. If we do alright until Jan, the fat cunt will think we don't need players.
themanupstairs
Men like him are extremely rare in football, and even more so in the modern game. He is a leader and can galvanise an entire city with a charming turn of phrase. I hope we can make up for whatever we lack in quality with team spirit and commitment. If you were a player, wouldn't you run through walls for this man if you actually cared about football and the club you played for? So much love Rafa

CPL
Echo the comments everyone else has made. Not been this proud of our manager since Sir Bobby, can't wait for the atmosphere at St James' Park later.

number9shirt
I feel sorry for Rafa mike & his minions won't open the chequebook for new players & the ones he does have let everyone down. What must be going through Rafa's head right now?

Skeletor
The end of his interview is very concerning. Looked fed up. His answers implied he doesn't want to see or talk to Mike Ashley.
Big Geordie
Rafa is going to join the list of Allardyce, Keegan, Shearer, and Hughton who have all been lied to and fucked over by Mike Ashley. Rafa will be gone soon because his job is being made untenable and he is a man of honour. Waiting to hear Rafa speak on 5Live now.

Dave
Just said on the Five Live interview that they'd specifically spoken before the game about maintaining control, presumably in respect of players like Alli being on the wind up. No wonder he's fuming hun.
