Flip Posted August 4, 2016 Share Posted August 4, 2016 VI, saw the game yesterday and was really impressed by this big dude at the back, turns out it's Marlon (thought it was Umtiti at first, hadn't checked the line-ups and was sat far away from the pitch) . What is expected from him this season? Seemed a big guy with tons of technical ability for a central defender. Any way he'll be a part of the senior squad? Could do with Hertha getting through to the groups so I don't have to hotfoot it from the airport to the match when we go & is played on Sunday instead. People around here are surprised about his performance too. He was signed to boost Barcelona B, but he will probably get chances for the seniors now. Even if it was just a summer friendly, dude looks too good for Spanish Segunda B. With Vermaelen soon to be out of the door he would become 5th choice on paper. People around here are surprised about his performance too. He was signed to boost Barcelona B, but he will probably get chances for the seniors now.
