Surely won't be able to get a work permit unless he's got a snide eu passport.

Transfermarkt seems to think hes got a Bulgarian one somehow

Wonder if he's been lined up for the national team since they're totally shite.

What effect will Brexit have on clubs signing players on long contracts or will they look inside the UK for long term contracts, additionally will clubs sign any players from the EU as they could technically be told to leave, following Brexit ,or indeed be told they require work permits.

The lower leagues will perhaps struggle to sign european players but championship and above money talks

dunno it ultimately boils down to the fa and its entirely possible they could put a cap on the amount of non british players that could be in a squad. Or gradually introduce one, I'm kinda surprised theres not already one on non eu players.

When the conditions for Brexit are happening, one of the last things on the mind of the politicians will be what the PL thinks.  The financial consequences of the PL suffering are so small in comparison to just about everything else in the economy.

Yeah but how often have our governments thought about ordinary people suffering over minor hurdles for the privlaged few and big global organisations?

Charnley working his magic.

isn't the only time he's ever come through the time they let him throw money at things because of all of his previous fuckups and we spent/behaved like a modern PL team?

Shame that was when McClaren was appointed manager. Charnley came through on that one as well.
