Think Rooney should be thrown out there if that sub is made tbh. Dier and Alli central. Kane behind Vardy. Even Sturridge/Vardy on for Sterling would improve this though. The diamond failed miserably against Portugal. It failed because the emphasis was on Rooney breaking through Kane & Vardy. The way we played it against Germany worked perfectly, you just keep them central & not pushed wide.
