Feels like 'Get into them' is practically lore at this point. Adidas missed a trick not sticking that on the shirt rather than Howay The Lads.

Would've preferred "fuck them up", though.

That’s a shame, I’ll have to savour the last three cans I have in my fridge. Hope you have some good collaborations lined up. I think Anarchy will have done well out working with you, it’s a good win-win for the right partner.

Feel like they’re in a bit of a difficult situation with regards to the Liverpool match now.

Under normal circumstances, first home game of the season, likely to be 4:30 on a bank holiday Sunday, you’d expect a big display and getting everyone whipped up.

But there’s still going to be a lot of emotion relating to the Jota tragedy, so trying to stay respectful of that whilst also committing to the above, I don’t envy them.

Sure they’ll get it right as always though.

Normal build up and whatever they would normally plan then a banner held up during the minutes silence.

If Liverpool are there to play the game then we should be there to do our thing. Respect Jota by respecting 'the game' imo

Liverpool are at home the week before we play them i take it? They can rightfully pay their respects themselves in that game and I'm sure there'll be a minutes silence for Jota across all football that 1st weekend.

I personally don't see any reason why wor flags need to do anything in regards to Jota. I know what has happened is awful, but unfortunately life goes on as harsh as that sounds.

I want to see a huge NUFC display for that game.

Yeah, guess that’s the only way to do it really.

Just going to take a a bit of edge off isn’t it? I know he wasn’t our player, but when the minutes silence is for a specific person that we all know, especially one who’s died in such terrible circumstances, it feels a bit more profound.

Even the silences for Remembrance Day, whilst always well observed, feel a tad more removed from you personally.

Surely there won't be a minutes silence though? Its the 2nd game of the season. Everyone will have the minutes silence the week before.

I think it would be a classy touch for us to do something in his memory when it's their 1st league away game after the incident. Doesnt need to be a full stand tifo, just a show of respect for him would represent us well, and I wouldn't expect that to detract from the build up and atmosphere.

Depends if every club does one on their first home game? Maybe not though.

Yes, doesn't have to be massive. Just something. As mondonewc says, it would represent us well. I remember toon fans laying a wreath on the Anfield pitch for the 5th anniversary of Hillsborough in 1994. A nice touch. Despite some social media nastiness at times we're all football fans.

Right, we need a Hank Hill flag with him wearing one of our shirts on it.

In the new season just dropped, Hank likes football after watching it whilst working in Saudi Arabia.

Let’s lay claim to Hank supporting us.

So the NUFC club badge was a little noisy and I don’t think would have looked good on a bigger image, so I’ve settle on this image.

Now you know why the club want to change the badge

Might want something NUFC on it so not too plain.
