Yorkie
Sorry to see him go tbh. A consummate professional and a vital, influential player for two years in a row. Regardless of his limitations in the Premier League, he was absolutely critical to promotion and played a huge part in our revival last year. And his departure is totally and utterly unnecessary. Away Toon
Hw will still be our player if the swap loan bit is correct so he can practice his goal scoring skills in the Championship with WBA this season and with us next season.
Bimpy474
Hope he regains his confidence and sharpness while on loan, good pro for us.
Deuce
West Brom get a proven Championship goalscorer and 2 mil quid. No malo.
Newcastle Fan
He's done really well in the championship season but that really is his level, once we went up he just wasn't up for it.
Gallowgate Toon
Absolutely loved him during that spell in the Champ. He was never the same after that injury, for whatever reason. I really though he was going to make the step up with us, until that point.
Guest firetotheworks
I never really warmed to him tbh. I can't really put my finger on why either because he was great in the Championship
Dave
I think he's one of those players that is a bit too good for the Championship but not quite good enough for the Premier League.
nufc4eva
I think he has put in a shift for us and just doesn't quite have it at this level. Has so.e great attributes but his touch and focus let him down. Hope he does well at West Brom
tinoasprilla
Played well for 4 months in seasons hope he doesn't come back
Guest firetotheworks
I think he's one of those players that is a bit too good for the Championship but not quite good enough for the Premier League. Should be forever known as the Darren Huckerby player.

HaydnNUFC
He was fucked after his injury he suffered in January of the Championship season. Feel for him because the first half of that season he was class, scoring for fun.
mrmojorisin75
Ugliest human I've ever seen, compounds his ugliness with his appalling hair choices. Good riddance.
AyeDubbleYoo
With slightly better finishing last season we’d probably all be saying we should keep him. I really think the line is that fine and he could still come good in the PL. Personally I would keep him, but we have this artificial choice between him and Rondón because we aren’t allowed more than one decent striker. We better hope Muto contributes quite a lot because otherwise we’ve only marginally improved up front.
Disco
Mad how much some people hate him.
AyeDubbleYoo
He’d be especially good to bring on once the defence have been knocked around by Rondon for 65 minutes.
Bimpy474
He’d be especially good to bring on once the defence have been knocked around by Rondon for 65 minutes. Surely that'll be Muto's job now.
Kanj
Mad how much some people hate him. He's literally had an exemplary attitude and has given his all for us. Not to mention he's actually done some good in the community with the football school he's helped setup in the area.
Stottie
Good luck to him, not least because he's still our player. I hope he can get his mojo back. Getting into goalscoring positions does not appear to be the problem.

It was in that league because defenders have less quality. In this league his touch isn't good enough to get him into position to score and he gets closed down quicker.
