nufc4eva
Should be good for at least 25 goals this season. I didn't know he was a free kick specialist so that's a bonus. "at least" Howay man He's got 3 in 3 without playing particularly well and we are playing close to 50 games this season. What's so ludicrous about that prediction? Especially if he's going to be taking set pieces. He will get at least 20 imho and works his arse off. Will be class when we actually create chances

Bimpy474
He's shite from what I have heard from the people on Newcastle-Online.Org. He is only really decent coming off the bench to stretch defences. They're all shite man. Two games is more than enough time to judge them. relentless
mrmojorisin75
He was joking about mishitting it. 35 then! I'm just messing about, if we pull it together as a team I'd predict he could get north of 20 like, but to go balls to the wall virtually guaranteeing +25 goals is a bit much imo

It's the words "at least" man, if you'd said he could get 25 this season then no bother. 25's not a lot for a striker in this division mojo, Nolan got 15 from midfield last time round and he didn't take set pieces. I think Ritchie got that many for Bournemouth as well.

I confess to my ignorance tbh, if strikers are regularly pulling in 25+ goals down here then fair enough

Dave
11/12 - 1 player scored 25+ (actual: 27) 12/13 - 2 players scored 25+ (30 & 28) 13/14 - 2 players scored 25+ (28 & 25) 14/15 - 1 player scored 25+ (27) 15/16 - 1 player scored 25+ (25) Ritchie got 15 goals for Bournemouth in 14/15. Not sure what Tron's on about tbh. 'At least' 25 goals from Gayle would be very, very good.

Not sure what Tron's on about tbh. I said Ritchie got 15 goals. I figured if Dwight is taking set pieces that might nudge him over 25 like the players who managed it in every other season in the championship seeing as he's a striker not a midfielder. nemtizz
As funny as the handball was it's pretty shitty. Remember raging and wishing death upon Elmohamady when he tried it against us, then he proceeded to moan about it being disallowed.
Interpolic
Said it in the other thread but that free kick was fantastic and from miles out too. Big bonus if we have the likes of him and Ritchie a threat from set pieces.
NEEJ
He showed some impressive strength and won some balls he had no right to in the air tonight. Very excited to see what he can do when he hits his stride. Off to watch that free kick now.
Ronaldo
Chuffed for him. I just hope this doesn't dissuade them from spending on another striker. We're essentially down to 2 strikers even without injuries. I'd like them to go all out for a forward/wide player who can play both roles so we have some flexibility rather than buy a Crouch type or an average winger. I certainly don't want a Crouch type. Someone like Hernandez would be ideal.

Big bonus if we have the likes of him and Ritchie a threat from set pieces. From where I was it looked like Ritchies position had the keeper shitting himself the ball was going in the other corner, basically bought Gayle a nice big gap to hit. I should probably clarify. I meant spent a decent wedge on a striker as opposed to just bringing in any old rubbish (Crouch) to make the numbers up.
