1964
Yeah, I’d wish him all the best. Seems like he has a head on his shoulders and a bit of a social conscience
STM
Wonder if he will be selling off his bondage gear.
OoOGazOoO
I'm actually quite disappointed about this - I really like him as a player, I don't think he kicked on from the times when he showed a lot of promise, but he is still very young and can progress well. Away Day Gadgie
I like Hayden, he came on leaps and bounds during our Championship season and actually finished it as a key player. I expected him to do the same in the Prem - start quite slow then grow into it. Unfortunately he didn’t, maybe because he didn’t get the chance due to Diame’s form. The way Diame played is the player i expect Hayden to eventually become, he’s definitely got the attributes IMO. I’ll be sad to lose him, there’s definitely a player there. Guest Howaythetoon
Probably got a slap off Lascelles, I expect to see him bring his entire family here now and becoming Diame 2.0.
Guest reefatoon
He'll be sitting on the subs bench with the bairn in a baby carrier tied around his chest, while the missus is out shopping.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
Not arsed if he goes if hes replaced like, hes a grafter and decent in the tackle but shits himself if he has to find a forward pass.
AyeDubbleYoo
We can’t really sell him now, little to no chance we’ll be able to find another free midfielder in time.

Mr Logic
That report couple of years back where he suggested he would avoid going back to his place because Rafa might be waiting to talk tactics, anyone remember? Suspected then that wasn't the right attitude, if I was a keen footballer wanting to succeed the chance to listen to Rafa would seem like a gift from heaven to me like. Greg
Yep. He did a few interviews raving about Rafa, how the England u21 coaching staff had noticed how he had improved and become a more intelligent footballer etc and it was all down to Rafa.
toontownman
Expect we are keeping him unless we get all the transfer business done (Strikers, LB, AM, CB) and a replacement lined up. Could be a last minute deal. BAHAHAHAHA sorry just re-read and realised how laughable that first sentence sounded.

54
http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/16376803.isaac-hayden-explains-why-he-submitted-a-transfer-request-at-newcastle-and-pleads-to-be-allowed-to-leave/ Hayden submitted a transfer request at the start of the summer, citing ‘exceptional family reasons’ as his motivation for seeking a move away from Tyneside just two years after he joined the Magpies from Arsenal. Hayden’s partner recently gave birth to a daughter, and it is understood that complications have forced her to relocate to the South-West with the pair’s child. “It’s a decision I didn’t come to very easily, but it was a decision I had to make,” he said. “Football’s obviously important to me, but family’s a completely different ball game and, for me, family takes precedence over football. “I didn’t want to have to make the decision I made, but I felt there was no other alternative. I spoke with the club about it at the start of the off-season so they had plenty of time to be aware of it, but things haven’t materialised how I hoped they’d materialise. Rich
An unfortunate pawn in the standoff between Ashley and Benitez, ridiculous that we’re in a place where we can’t risk letting him go.

Sima
Sounds an entirely reasonable reason, hope his kid is ok. Aye, I remember Gavin Peacock going to Chelsea in the summer of 1993 for similar reasons. Absolutely no ill feeling towards Hayden.
TRon
Sounds an entirely reasonable reason, hope his kid is ok. Yes it is, and we should have no problem letting him leave as long as a club gives us his full value and doesn't try to take him on the cheap.
