STM
Janmaat just casually waiting for him to arrive Sounds like the bloke in the white shirt who escorts him after Janmaat greets him, asks him "What did he say", as in, what did Jamaat say to ye mate I had to put headphones in for this, but I'm 99% certain the guy with the white shirt that ends up walking in with Hanley says to him "Do you like his shirt" (in reference to Janmaat, who he has essentially just ignored and commented on as he walks past him) Hanley grunts "Uh?" (bloody neanderthal) White shirt guy then says "What d'ya think of his shirt?" and Hanley replies "It's lovely isn't it?" Weird! It's all true as well. I thought they were talking about the weather. Figures 1-0 Football
Why was Janmaat casually waiting to meet him in his holiday shirt?
Sho Time
Opinion is well and truly split on this poll. Obviously he's a cross-bred freak.
Slim
I trust Rafa in anything he does. Fucking hell never felt like this about a NUFC manager since Bobby

Nate
Captain in all but name, always organising. Looked like he was babysitting an extremely nervous Lascelles.

Nate
Captain in all but name, always organising. Looked like he was babysitting an extremely nervous Lascelles. No offence, but are you mad? Neither played well but only one was trying to lead the team on the pitch. Hear Lascelles has given a good interview mind.
joeyt
In the pre season game last week he played on the right of the 2 CBs yet tonight played on the left. Doubt it made a difference but just seemed a bit odd
SiLvOR
Calamity waiting to happen. Kept missing the ball, under hit/poorly judged a header back to Sels at least once as well. Don't like him as of right now.
AyeDubbleYoo
Aye, I thought he was genuinely bad tonight and against Southend. But TBF nobody should be written off this quickly.
Dave
Calamity waiting to happen. Kept missing the ball, under hit/poorly judged a header back to Sels at least once as well. Don't like him as of right now. Surely just nerves and/or lack of composure.
SiLvOR
No, indeed, but he really surprised me today with how poor he looked. I expected a rock solid beast, tbh.

AyeDubbleYoo
As Dave says I'm hoping he's just a bit nervous. Either way Mbemba is streets ahead right now.
joeyt
Thought he did well not to concede a pel from that Janmaat pass
AyeDubbleYoo
Thought he did well not to concede a pel from that Janmaat pass Yep, actually he didn't need to dive in at all, it looked like he was going to get their first on his feet.
Wallsendmag
Looked every bit the cart horse I expected him to be after seeing him for Blackburn. Mbemba should be in v Huddersfield.
Minhosa
If Mbemba is fully fit, I can't see why this guy started over him.
Guest firetotheworks
Very much in the clumsy lump category.
Mick
I think Hanley can be a good defender for us, he's nothing flash but I think he will turn out to be solid once he's had more time working for Rafa, he's good backup.
tmonkey
Thought he looked good defensively for the most part.
