Preparing for the Premier League

Someone like Eric Pieters would be handy. Solid at the back, isn't Roberto Carlos but does get forward and can put a good delivery in.

From our favourite female journalist:

Will Robert Snodgrass still be a West Ham player next season?

It is surprising to hear Hammers fans say they are a bit underwhelmed by Robert Snodgrass. Before swapping Hull for east London, and a significant wage hike, in a £10m January transfer the Scotland winger looked one of the best players in the Premier League. Snodgrass did all right in the draw at Sunderland, where his wonderfully whipped in left-foot corner created a goal for James Collins but at times certain team-mates seemed slightly reluctant to give him the ball. There are suggestions that Rafael Benítez might like to transplant the 29‑year‑old to Newcastle United – who would probably be already promoted had Benítez been allowed to sign him in January – this summer in a move which could suit all parties. If not, Snodgrass’s West Ham team-mates are going to have to start utilising, rather than wasting, his very real talent. Louise Taylor

Arsenal look set to sign a new left-back, would Nacho Monreal be realistic? Hopefully the vague Spanish link would help.

Arsenal fans I know reckon he's really bad now, can't stop anyone getting past him and genuinely looks past it at that level.

We can't have two slow wingers starting in the PL.

I've hated this thread ever since it was created, so preemptive and surely we are all harden now to never ever take anything for granted with NUFC.

I hated it when our fans started singing we were going to win the league in November ffs.

Unbeliev-a-bubble. If you think we're not getting promoted because of what happened today, you want to take your head for a shit; over dramatic wank splashes. If you think having a thread with this title ( and the caveat in the description) make the slightest difference to the outcome then look up treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; your life doesn't need to be as blighted by irrational superstitious thoughts.
