He's playing as a target man. It's not the target man role though, if you play that you always have a striker along side the target man. No you don't..... I mean, there have been occasions where the ball is played into his body, and he's been fine at laying it off for oncoming midfielders. But yes, it would be preferable to have an extra man there up with him. Or have Diame waiting in a more offensive position.
