Whilst that fat c*** was utterly hideous, there is absolutely no need for the situation to develop as it did.

The policing/stewarding was utterly shambolic, for a start, allowing a man of his physique to get onto the pitch in the first place and to then remain on the pitch for such a long period of time. After that, the complete stupidity to only get two stewards to try and walk him past the entire Gallowgate end into the Strawberry corner. At the end of the game, to try and escort him at full time through the crowds out of the Gallowgate end was just ridiculous. Obviously, there was going to be some sort of muppet having a pop. Why not hold him in the ground for 20 minutes or so? Or take him straight out when he was lifted off of the pitch rather than waiting until after FT.

So in full view of children, there were a large number of people attacking him on the Gallowgate steps.

He got a real thumping like, which was totally avoidable from start to finish. Like I said, he was an utter c*** but that doesn't detract from how avoidable the situation was.

Deserved the good hiding he got. I'd expect the same treatment if I'd gone to Elland Road and done the same.  Can't go on like that and not expect any consequences.

Self inflicted, normally I don't like to see people get a kicking but he's an exception.

Didn't realise Rafa got involved trying to prevent a fat pitch invader:

4 shots on target from 22 poor imo.  Should be at least 1 in 3.

Those stats are wrong, for a start two of Ritchie's shots, one which deflected over off the albino's head was given as not on target, and another hit with his right foot, same with the Perez deflected shot too.

Aye, some places show the blocked shots stats separately to those on target but for me they are all on target.

Didn't he give a Leeds player a bit of a shove anarl?

Shook hands with Green then went to do the same to Jansson who pushed him away.

 Bloke in front stood up throwing his arms about telling him to fuck off so couldn't quite see, but did notice a Leeds player not reacting well.

Pontus jansen, he tried to hug him and he pushed him away onto his arse.

I was probably too engrossed in the game but I don't think I heard the clapping in 17 minutes in the ground last night

It did happen but it only started half way through the 17th minute and it didn't last long and was very muted.

I never heard any and the kid next to me commented on it at about 20 minutes and we both agreed it was a step in the right direction.

From what I saw one of the Leeds defenders made his way to our bench to rub it in after they scored and Elliot went to confront him

Yip and Rob Green ran right out of his goal and screamed in Mitrovics face as well.

Rob Green was dancing and shouting in Mitros face just in front of the dugouts, on the halfway line. This was because Mitro shouted in the face of Kyle Bartley when we scored.

I heard it in the Leazes and looked at the clock wondering if it was the 17th minute and it was 17:38.  I stopped clapping a long time ago as it's pointless and has gone on for far too long.

There was a crucial break in play at the start of added time, when a solo pitch invader made his way from the East Stand and got involved with the Leeds pair Rob Green and Pontus Jansson.

Captured by two stewards, the pitch invader was then led along the front of the Gallowgate by several more stewards, gesturing to home fans in a manner suggesting that he wasn't one of them.

(NUFC.com readers have since confirmed that he had an LUFC tattoo visible and was one of two away fans in the East Stand. He looked to have gone on the pitch for a bet, while the other clown kept hold of the invader's coat etc and filmed the whole incident).

There was then a melee in front of the Strawberry Corner involving home fans apparently trying to attack the pitch invader - with similar scenes outside the ground after full time seeing further punches thrown at him outside the Strawberry.

I've watched their goal again, and it really was one you shouldn't concede when you're defending a lead in injury time. There was a huge gap between the centre backs and no-one from midfield was covering the space either. And it was a huge amount of space, right in front of the goal.

I'd put it down to nerves. We lack calm leadership and our players were all over the place.

What was worse was that Colback had committed a professional foul to stop them breaking on us. We still didn't use that time to get organised.

Leeds had a number of pissed up knackers on Friday. I was in The Clock where a group of them (young and old) started singing Marching on Together, Where you when you were shite and Jimmy Savile he's one of our own. There had been a police van outside but that had gone; it was one bump, spilt pint from kicking off. Another group starting singing up the road to Rosie's and another at SBR Statue. On the way out another was playing up outside Shark Bar and started punching those barriers - the Coppers just stood and looked on.

The atmosphere in the ground was the best all season but it could have been a pretty messy affair.
