Another hopeless performance. One point is max what we gonna get from this game.

Been like this all year, but loads of people have blissfully chosen to play it down.

Rafa's not as good as people make him sound man.

Give over man. He needed to buy players whilst everyone was strengthening and he wasn't allowed to. This is LC and MA's fault.

Brighton and Huddersfield didn't strengthen in January.

Give over with that shit, man. He's stuttering massively and significantly accountable.

Aye. If we do successfully stutter our way into 2nd place, things need to change. If he's even still around next season.

This squad, with the lead we had over Huddersfield should have comfortably finished the job, the blame lies with Rafa and the players.

Every match thread is the same but still it'll get called a knee jerk. We're fucking appalling to watch. Seems being entertained is no longer a priority in football. Win at all costs.

That is the situation. We've assembled a squad to work hard and get us promoted. Nothing else.

And then what? Buy another 11 players for next season? Not gonna happen is it.

Urgh okay.

You think we are? Can you think of a club in the history of the premiership who have successfully overhauled their squad one season to the next?

These players aren't gonna just start being better just because they'd be playing a league higher, so if they've been assembled just to get us promoted, what's next seasons plan?

Give me an honest answer rather than your usual condescending shite please.

I've argued it half a dozen times already this season, hence my non-engagement then. I don't think we need an overhaul. We need about four significant signings down the spine of the team, and we'll stay up.

Am I that condescending? Feel like I tend to get involved in an actual debate the majority of the time. Granted I was an arse then and apologies for that.

No problem, must admit I've not seen your other posts about it. So the squad was assembled to get promotion ugly, but only needs 4 players changing? Can't say I agree with that, especially when I believe we need 3 new defenders, 3 new midfielders and at least 1 striker to even stay up.

Big fan of rotation for no reason.

The changes have been terrible to be honesty, the centre halfs still look shaky. Diame has looked awful and totally ineffective. Atsu has done nothing but replace Gouff so no change there and Murphy has not held the ball up well at all and done absolutely nothing to give them a game at the back.

The worst thing about this is the total lack of effort and urgency in such an important game. I understand that theyre not a particularly talented group of players but each and every one of them needs to take a long, hard look at themsleves at half time.
