There’s no way he should be going for £30m but as has been said, there are worse players that have gone for a lot more. Another player great on counter, but feels they need someone else in there. Cairney offered what Fulham needed, but he’s getting on and just not at the required level for Premier League. We can't afford Ugarte as it stands and were reliant on this sale, otherwise Berge was the other option. Personal terms are agreed with Ugarte. PSG wants to cash in on Ugarte because he's limited going forward. We don't care about that. We need a midfield destroyer. We have Kobbie Mainoo and one of the most creative players in the world in Bruno Fernandes. We just need someone to offer enough protection to the back four and recycle the ball to one of those two. Ugarte fits the bill of what we need. McTominay isn't on the level of these guys. McTominay plus £15-20m to get Ugarte in would be hugely beneficial to us.
