Seems an absolutely quintessential Liverpool signing to me - versatile forward already proven in the PL but with age still on his side ala Mane, Jota etc. There really isn't many goalscoring right forwards about. Liverpool offering the money to keep Salah probably goes against their transfer policy, but seems the best option given lack of options on the market. Liverpool are arguably the only PL side who could do with a striker and could attract and afford Isak, so having them need to buy replacements for TAA, Robertson, Salah and VVD would be very helpful. I don't think he's the profile we can sign for £60m or whatever it would take. He'll be 26 in the summer and we would be really quickly looking at his resale value going down.
