gbandit
It does need someone who’s going to take no shit but the only way that works is if Amorim constantly gets backed. You can’t change a culture all by yourself

I believe in Amorim. GGMU. Nobody will fix any culture under your current ownership, in my view. I think this season is a bigger problem than you realise, seems to me it’s going to be difficult to get out of some of the albatross contracts while funding another new side to fit the specific way Amorim plays. I think you’re being asset-stripped, and it won’t be long until good and promising players get sold off amid headlines of over-spending on staff and facilities and active deception over debt figures. I still think you’re a big enough name and recent enough success to get some good players, but I don’t see any player going there and succeeding. It’s not an organisation currently built to succeed, I don’t think.
Oregon_Geordie
Manchester United have to start again, they have zero spine or culture. To build that is the most difficult thing, even if you buy buy buy. Thats the remarkable thing about Howe and the signings of Trippier and Burn. Other than Maguire I don't see much leadership, I don't see much at all but bang average players and finger pointers - they're screwed, Amorim or not. I think we've got slightly more of a chance of signing him than Everton. He'll either go to Manchester United because it's Man Utd or Man City to play for Pep or Chelsea for the dollar bill y'all. A lot of players look down on Newcastle for some reason. Too far north? We've got a passionate support and a tremendous manager. What's not to love? I'm giving him a massive Fuck you right now because there is no chance he's coming here. Same with Mebumo or whatever he's called, he won't come here either. Jamie Vardy might though. Amorim might need a few more things going for him, like some tactical flexibility, if he wants to finish in the top half of the premier league.
